Nokia X (Nokia Normandy) was spotted in various leaks in the past few weeks. The Android-running Nokia entry-level smartphone is still not officially introduced, but we are definitely getting closer to the anticipated event. Many believe that Nokia will be presented around the MWC event in the end of February. No confirmation by Nokia has backed up those rumors, so far now we will keep waiting and focus on exploring the new leaks and gossips.
The newest leak for Nokia X unveils the results of the model scored on benchmark test of Sofica. The source of the information is the database of CamSpeed. According to the results, the Nokia X scores pretty well on the benchmark tests. More details about the specs of the device are also provided in the leak. The first rumors about the model suggested that it will be packed with a 5MP camera with fixed focus. The tests on Nokia X in CamSpeed have been provided for 3MP resolution.
The phone has the codename RM-980 which is the name used in the database of CamSpeed. The model works with 512MB RAM. It is provided with 4GB storage with the possibility to expand it via microSD cards. It works with a 1500mAh battery. The last leaks revealed that we can expect the Nokia X in 6 colors. The phone runs on customized version of Android OS. Many refer to is as “forked” because of the appearance of the UI reminding to the tiles of Windows Phone. The Nokia X will be a unique entry-level smartphone that will bring a lot of advantages to its owners, such as affordable price, basic functionality and access to the rich world of Android compatible apps. The device is purposed for the emerging markets. It is a small-sized smartphone that is equipped with a lot of features and boasts excellent performance to satisfy users’ needs on the go.
