BLU announced four new smartphones, two from the Life Play line and two from Life One
Blue introduced the new additions to the Life Play and Life One lines
BLU Produces is known as a manufacturer of mid-range smartphones with decent specs and capabilities offered at affordable prices. Recently the company released several new models, including BLU Life Pure and BLU Advance 4.0 among others. The big trade-show in the mobile world CES 2014 began yesterday. One of the first companies that announced their new devices and products was BLU. The manufacturer introduced 4 new smartphones that are expected to hit the markets in Q1 2014.
BLU Life Play S is equipped with a 4.7-inches screen with a resolution of 720p. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 1GB RAM. The chipset working in the handset is MediaTek MT6582. It arrives with only 4GB storage on board and a microSD slot for cards. Life Play S boasts an 8MP shooter on the rare panel and 2MP camera on the face of the phone. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The connectivity features in Life Play S include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth among others. It will be launched in January. The price of the handset is $199.
BLU Life Play X boasts slightly more advanced specs than its sibling. It is packed with a 4.7-inches display with 720p. The processor that is powering the device is more powerful quad-core MediaTek MT6589T ticking at 1.5GHz. It works with 1GB RAM and provides 16GB built-in memory. Life Play X supports microSD cards. It also runs on Android 4.2 platform. The battery of the model is 1800mAh. Just like the Life Play S, the Life Play X is armored with 8MP primary rare camera. There is a front-facing camera with 2MP. The phone supports 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. It will be released in Q1 at price of $219.
BLU Life One M is slightly bigger than the above mentioned models. It works with a 5-inches screen with a resolution of 720p. Under the hood of Life One M is working the same processor as in the Life Play X – quad-core 1.5GHz with MediaTek MT6589T chip paired with 1GB of RAM. The Life One M is equipped with a bigger battery with a capacity of 2000mAh. The storage in the phone is only 4GB. Fortunately there is a microSD slot on board for expansion of the memory. The camera of the smartphone is 12MP on the back panel. There is a front camera with 2MP for video calls. BLU Life One M supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. It works on Android 4.2 OS. The launching of the phone is scheduled for January. It costs $199.
Last but not least is the BLU Life One X. It is the most advanced model from the quartet. The screen of Life One X is 5-inches with 1080p resolution. It is powered by a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz with MediaTek MT6589T chip and 2GB RAM. There are two variants of the phone, one with 16GB storage and the other one with 32GB. The Life One X is working on Android 4.2. Its main camera is located on the back, with 13MP. The front-facing camera is with 5MP which makes it great for selfies and video calls. Under the hood you will find 2000mAh battery. It supports either 3G 850/1900/2100MHz bands or 850/1700/1900MHz. The model will be up-for-sales in January for price of $279 for the 16GB variant. The 32GB Life One X will cost $299.
All four new smartphones sport sleek designs with curves and ergonomic shape. They will be available at least in two color options – black and white. BLU is expending its product range with the addition of a new tablet as well.
