Apparently, Google isn’t the only way to find professional opinion and tutorials to tip you how to do it.. ok, it is, but this time with an entirely different idea. Android Authority has just reported that an online university will step forward in order to offer free online Android programming courses.
The lessons will start next month, just to mark the new year and will feature every single interested applicant the first notions that are needed to create an original application for smart devices running Google’s mobile operating system.
According to another report, the course will last for eight weeks and will be offered by the University of Maryland and it’s said to be directed to sophomore or junior level students with basic knowledge of Java script programming language. But don’t worry; it appears that the course will be also directed to beginners, so the students are not expected to have experience in developing applications for mobile devices. In case you’re interested, you can easily go for it and all you’ll need is an internet connection, as well as free time to read, write and discuss the material. You’re not required to actually own an Android device, as the graded lessons will be all done under the usage of an Android emulator.
It’s said further in the report that each lesson will be also compromised of video presentations as well as lab exercises that will be the very stuff of better comprehension of the practice while learning. At the end of the online course for Android app developers, students will have to deal with a complex final project; you can even call it an exam.
As there’s a course, the challenge of completing it will have its rewards- aside from learning the techniques, you will also be given a Statement of Accomplishment signed by the instructors.
So get started.
