The availability was announced by the Marketing Director of Samsung Electronics Australia, Arno Lenior:
The latest Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) represents a fantastic combination of stylish design and impressive engineering, all available in an ultra-thin (7.9mm) device. What really sets this product apart is the enhanced functionality of the S Pen and the great multitasking ability it can offer users.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is available in both Wi-Fi and 4G variants, and it comes in Jet Black and Classic While. The tablet features an internal storage of 16GB, but it can be expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD cards, as usual. The Wi-Fi version costs $649 and the 4G variant is priced at $799.
The device features the S Pen stylus alongside with the expected software capability that brings Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Air View, Air Command, Smart Scroll and Multi Window. The Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition has a 10.1-inch display with the resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and the device measurements are 9.57 x 6.75 x 0.31. The tablet operates with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU coated at 2.3GHz with 3GB of RAM. The device features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. It offers a non-removable 8220 mAh battery that lasts up to 98 hours of music play, and up to 49 hours talk time. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity are mandatory for such a high-class smart device. When it comes to interface, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition can display content also in magazine format.
