Sources close to Samsung has just revealed to Bloomberg that the Korean manufacturer is working on a unique concept for a smartphone with a wraparound screen. The technology that will be integrated in the wraparound screen of the device is the same used for the curved display of Galaxy Round, but much more advanced. The big goal of Samsung is to develop a smartphone with a wraparound screen where each of the three sides of the display can work independently. According to the sources the expected launch date for the device will be at the end of 2014.
The innovative technologies for flexible screens will broadly integrated in different devices, including smartphones and smartwatches. The improvements in this sphere will open up plenty of possibilities for the manufacturers and developers to create unique concepts and breakthrough devices.
