Samsung to partner with PayPal, brings the payment service to the mobile devices

The most popular online payment system PayPal and Samsung have formed an alliance to bring the service into the Samsung devices. As a result, PayPal will be added to the Samsung’s ecosystem, both companies have announced. The main purpose of the alliance is to provide an easy and convenient method of purchasing apps and goods. Samsung and PayPay promise that the new service will have a maximum level of security.

Samsung has recently started to enrich its own Samsung store with new apps and services. You have probably heard of the most popular ChatON cross-platform messaging service. It has become so popular that Samsung has freed the app, and it’s currently available for all other platforms. Unlike ChatON, many other apps are locked and they can only work on Samsung devices. Samsung also provides a plenty of content services within the ‘Samsung Hub’ – like books, music and videos.

Now, with PayPal, the Samsung’s users will have an easy, safe and convenient method to purchase apps and services directly from the mobile device. According to PayPal, this will make the services open of even more consumers. Currently, if a user wants to purchase an app he or she needs to use a credit card. This could be worrying and impractical for many.

There will be some positives for the developers too. Their work will be instantly monetized thus the transfer delays will be eliminated. Samsung will enable the PayPal payout option for developers from all countries.

Initially, the payment option will be limited to nine countries including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and the US. The US support will follow shortly after the launch in the first eight countries. There is no information whether and when the service will be enabled for other countries.
