Sirius codenamed Nokia Windows RT tablet now appears on Bluetooth certification page
The rumored Windows RT tablet from Nokia dubbed Sirius has now gone through the Bluetooth certification process as model number of RM-114. Interestingly enough, though, the tablet device went through the GFX benchmark test with a model number of RX-114. Mobile ad network AdDuplex also found model number RX-114 in its logs.
Earlier leaks revolving around the slate have given its code name Sirius, which now turns up on the GFX benchmark with the device itself listed as Jinsh Sirius The benchmarks so far show a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor CPU paired with the Adreno 330 GPU. Until now we have seen the rumored tablet dressed all in red with Verizon branding and some specs leaked.
The Nokia Windows RT tablet should come equipped with a 1080 x 1920 resolution 10.1 inch screen with a boost for viewing the display under bright sunlight. 32GB of native storage and 2GB of RAM will be available along with with a microSD slot on board. 6MP and 2MP are the back and front cameras respectively. The battery will offer 10 hours of power and the tablet will feature 4G LTE connectivity.
If you are following through Windows tablets you would know that some of them come with an optional QWERTY keyboard equipped cover, which also has embedded battery in order to increase the cell’s life on the tablet itself. The tablet is rumored to be unveiled on September 26th at the same time along with Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet will be introduced.
Overall, Nokia seem to be putting up two quite well spec’d devices and they are really getting in, in the real competition. In this way the manufacturer also puts Windows Phone OS in more and more fundamental place along with the other two major mobile OS.
