Nokia Lumia 1520 captured in high-resolution photos next to Sony Xperia Z1 and iPad mini
The upcoming phablet Nokia Lumia 1520 is very exciting event in the mobile world foro several reasons. First, it has been awhile since Nokia has announced a large-sized device. The launching of the hybrid between tablet and smartphone is much anticipated by fans of Nokia that prefer the 5.5-inches+ devices. Another reason why Lumia 1520 is promising to be a successful high-end by Nokia is the fact that it will be the largest device that runs on Windows Phone 8. This is possible thanks to the GDR3 update that supports 6-inches screens with 1080p resolution. Lumia 1520 will be armored with an excellent blend of features, options and capabilities to satisfy the most demanding Windows Phone users who have a thing for the plus sized models.
The leaks for Nokia Lumia 1520 reveal more and more about the phablet, from its official name (the first time we heard for the device was named Bandit) to the render pictures showing the device in bright yellow shell. The next that we expect to see is some set of photos comparing the phablet with other flagships.
We do not need to wait more. Thanks to The Verge, a new leak with photos gives a glimpse on the Lumia 1520 lying next to Sony Xperia Z1 and iPad mini. Those types of leaks are among the favorite of mobile users because they give a better idea for the device, directly compared to other smartphones and tablets. The newly announced Sony Xperia Z1 is noticeably smaller lying next to the 6-inches big Lumia 1520. The leak with pictures consists of some information about the specs of the device. According to the provider of the photos, the depicted Lumia 1520 works with quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU under the hood and 2GB RAM. It boasts 32GB built-in memory with support for microSD card. The phablet runs on Windows Phone 8, updated with GDR3. The leak seems rather believable as the depicted Lumia 1520 looks identical to the previous leaks and the rumors about the device. The expectations about the tablet are to be offered by AT&T carriers in the US.
