LG Optimus L9 II may be released soon
LG Optimus L9 II seems to be very real and promising after the device was vaguely suggested by a spy a long time ago. Now we have more of an official picture from The Unlockr. There were back when first tipped hardware specs about it and that was pretty much it. Now we can say that there is new picture which shows the device from the front and the back and that we still have the same hardware specs as before. This does not add too much to the general info about the device but it certainly adds to the chances for it being revealed in the very near future.
Once the LG Optimus L9 II (or LG L9 II maybe) will be LG’s top second in line in the L-series. It is said to feature some pretty good stuff for its role in the market. 720 by 1280 pixels resolution with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display, which seems good-enough for what’s surely going to be a mid-range device. A dual-core Qualcomm SoC is also invited to the party, probably with a Snapdragon 400, along with 1GB of RAM. When we go to the cameras we see 8MP camera in the back, 1.3MP front-facing one, 8GB of available internal storage, which is a bit on the low end, thank God it has a microSD card slot, 2150mAh battery, and Android 4.1.2 coming out of the box.
When you take a wider look at things these are pretty solid specs for what the device is supposed to be – a mid-ranger and it seems that in this way LG is also promising much better specs for their premium devices. While for now there is no information showing that the LG Optimus L9 II will be announced any time soon there are pretty good chances that the device might make it in time for the IFA 2013 expo in Berlin.
