Google Glass not coming this year probably next spring
Google has been developing a new product for quite some time. You are all familiar with the Google Glass project and it seems that it slowly going to appear in the public space. Google’s Eric Schmidt has been claiming for a while that the Google Glass will not be up until late spring in 2014 and it for now it seemed that there was a thin hope that Google may come up with the project just a little earlier for the space just before the holidays. However, a new report is trying again to remind us that we should not be expecting the new Google Glass project to be complete before May 2014.
Google seems to want to release the Glass around the Google I/O 2014 sometime, according to a recent report, which is not going to happen until May 2014. So we will not be expecting a the new Google Glass much earlier than that. If we consider the way Google handled this year’s conference and given the fact that it was more of a developer’s conference than an official event for release and that there were only software announcements it is probably a good idea to consider a date close to the conference but the release itself will probably not be on the conference itself. So when the date for the conference is set we can judge whether the Google Glass release will be in late April or in early May.
The Google Glass has been in development stage for months and it is tested by developers and early adopters who claim to be willing to give up to $1500 for the new device. There is no official information about the pricing yet but there are rumors that claim the device will be eventually somewhere around $300.
