iOS 7 beta 4 launches today
Good news for all of you waiting for the new beta version of iOS 7. If Apple keeps the same two week release pattern, the 4rd beta version is coming today – July 22. Unfortunately, you wouldn’t be able to download it only if you have a developer access.
We expect the new beta version of iOS 7 to address some of the issues found in the previous versions. As you might have read, iOS 7 beta 3 had many problems and issues. We received several reports from testers. iPhone 5 running iOS 7 performs solidly with some minor crashes. iPhone 4 got major lock-up and crashing problems, a black screen at least once a day and several other problems. Fortunately, iOS 7 is a beta, so the developers still have time before public release. The official iOS 7 is expected in 2 months.
So, the new beta version will address some of these issues, but any of you using iOS 7 beta should assume many problems to exist – the software is far away from public utilization. In the new version we expect several new features to be added. As you may know, the beta 3 update didn’t have any major changes compared with the first two versions. Now, besides the new features, we expect the iPhone 4S problems with the black screen to be fixed. The last 3rd beta was released on July 8. Its biggest change was in the font size. The testers reported difficulties in reading small texts with some font types. Another issue according to the user feedback was the ugly app icons.
We don’t have an official confirmation about the iOS 7 beta launch today, but similar to the previous downloads, it could just appear online.
