The offer will be available for limited time.
The irresistible price of the tablet Surface RT with its 32GB version is only $199USD. This shows a significant discount in the price, compared to the $499USD users had to pay when the tablet was released. The offer is available for K-12 and higher academic institutions in more than 20 countries in different corners on the planet. The tablet Microsoft Surface RT 32GB that is equipped with Touch Keyboard Cover has a regular price of $599USD. The selected universities and colleges by Microsoft will be offered to buy the tablet for just $249USD. Another device by Microsoft – the Surface RT – 32GB with Type Keyboard Cover that regularly costs $629USD will be offered to the schools, colleges and universities at $289USD. The offer for the tablets will continue from 17th of June to 31st of August, 2013 and refers only to educational institutions. Tablets will not be sold individually at the discounted prices.
Microsoft adds to the announcement that the mission of the company is to help the students and the tutors in schools and universities to “realize their full potential.” The company aims to provide the most affordable and reliable services, hardware and software to diverse education institutions. The Surface RT runs on Windows RT and works with quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and 2GB RAM. It is armored with 10.6-inch display ClearType HD with a resolution of 1366x768p. The tablet has two cameras and 32 GB of internal storage. It supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and arrives with countless apps pre-installed in the OS.
