One million units of the LG Optimus G Pro sold in South Korea
Released four months ago in South Korea, the latest LG flagship needed much time to reach the other countries in Asia. Despite the limited initial availability, LG Optimus G Pro has made a huge impact, according to the latest sales reports. The flagship device has already reached 1 million units sold in the home country and the phone aims at becoming a best-seller in even more markets.
In South Korea, the LG Optimus G Pro has daily sales of 8000 units, and the sales are speeding up, LG’s officials proudly announced. That means, the phone is selling faster than the previous high-end device from LG, which needed 7 months to reach the 1 million target sales, but that is not unusual concerning the characteristics of the LG Optimus G Pro. You may already know the specs, but let’s do a quick recap now. The model with a 5.5-inch True Full HD screen with 401ppi density is something very attractive for the tech-lovers. The quad-core Qualcomm 1.7 GHz processor with 2 GB of RAM ensures the seamless and fast operation, while the 32 GB internal storage – enough space for your files. If you need more, just insert a microSD card, the phone supports up to 64 GB of additional memory.
The phone has also LTE connectivity and some really nice software features, 13 MP camera with a resolution of 4208 x 3120 pixels with autofocus and LED flash, capturing video files with 1080p resolution. Video call lovers are also happy; there is a nice secondary 2.2 MP front-facing camera. It seems that is a matter of time for LG Optimus G Pro to reach the success in many countries in addition to the homeland market. One million units for four months is something which can’t be neglected and we will keep an eye on the device to see how further it could go.
