Check the benchmark results of Huawei Ascend P6

It’s less than a fortnight till the announcement of Huawei Ascend P6 – one of the thinnest and most handy smartphones out there with its thickness of 6.2 mm. The device is expected to be unveiled on June 18, but there are different leaks related to it. One of them was spotted on the website Gfxbenchmark, where, apparently, Huawei Ascend P6 has spent some time recently. One of the most important things we learn about the eagerly awaited new Huawei is that it will employ a quad core Hass K3V2 processor.

Another interesting features refer to the display chosen for the new Huawei Ascend P6. It seems that Huawei won’t use displays with FullHD resolution neither on Huawei Ascend Mate, nor on Huawei Ascend P6, so the latter will use a 4.7’’ screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. We understand why Huawei prefers not to use FullHD displays – they make the devices significantly thicker, and it seems that the idea of Huawei Ascend Mate (6.1’’) and Huawei Ascend P6 (6.2’’) is to keep them slim. Moreover, the FullHD display requires more battery, which will either result in the low duration of the original one, or will need to be replaced, which will add even more to the thickness.

So what we find out next is how much operative memory will Huawei Ascend P6 has. The fast processor will be backed up with 2 GB of RAM. The storage capacity will be 8GB and surely there will be a microSD slot for those, who would like to add some more. The rear shooter is 5MP and the device will out of the box with pre-installed Android 4.2.2. The Android will be modified, so the happy owners will use Emotion UI 1.6.
