Is Android better than iOS 7?
We know that neither platform is perfect, but if we compare Android with iOS, it is obvious that both operating systems are quite different. iOS attracts users with its simplicity, clean design and easiness. On the other hand, Android comes with a different look and possibility for personalization on every different model. The flexibility of Android can be an advantage or a drawback, according to your point of view. For example, you will need much time to learn how to use your new phone if you switch devices. However, now we will try to mark some of the advantages of Android over iOS.
First, let’s see the way in which both systems present the information on the home screen. On Android, users can place resizable widgets on the screen allowing them to see different information – the weather forecast, stock prices, sport news, calendar and much more. In contrast, iOS presents the information by non –transparent and not so user friendly gadgets. Second, Apple does not encourage different launchers. If you look at the grid of icons, you will see the same type and boring grid on any other device. In contrast, Android offers something fresh and new and there are many additional functions which can be added. That applies if you are an end user. If you are a 3-rd party developer, Android offers you also much more opportunities than iOS. You have an easy access to the Google’s web store, while the costs are a big barrier to enter the Apple store leading to less apps and features for iOS.
Undoubtedly, Google Now is more accurate than Siri. If you compare both personal assistants, you will see that Sisi is extremely slow in the responses. Google Now responds approximately 15 seconds faster than Siri. Moreover, Google’s responses are more human like while Siri sounds un-natural. What is your opinion?
