The durable Lava XOLO B700 comes to India

Given that the Indian market is one of the largest in the world and it develops quite fast, it is no surprise that there is a great selection of devices available for the Indian customers. Now they get even one more option to choose – the durable Lava XOLO B700 that has a lot to offer.

For those who are keen on mobile phones, it is nothing new that the Motorola RAZR MAXX series sports 3300mAh batteries. Lava XOLO B700, however, is a strong opponent with its 3450mAh. This incredible battery is capable of surviving up to 20 hours of 3G calls and 363 hours on 3G standby. The other specifications include 4.3’’ IPS screen with qHD resolution (540×960), dual-core processor at 1GHz and 512MB RAM. The operating system is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the handset is sold at the price of Rs. 8999, which is about $165.

Something more about the device – it comes with 4GB storage capacity which can be expanded with the help of microSD card (up to 32GB). Lava XOLO B700 comes with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back and a 0.3MP front camera. The connectivity options feature Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-SIM support and Bluetooth. One of the cons of the phone, however, is that it is available only in black – a bit dull, don’t you think?

The battery looks quite big advantage, having in mind that the main problem of most smartphones nowadays is that soon after you start using them actively, their power is drained up for a rather short time. Lava XOLO B700 with its unseen 3450mAh may change that – why not survive after a whole day of active usage?
