3G/4G Aircard coming soon to Sprint
With it’s 4G service up and running in the greater Baltimore area, Sprint has announced releasing a dual-mode aircard by the end of the month. The company has stated that this new USB U300 Modem will be available December 21st for $149.99 with a two-year subscriber agreement, after a $50 mail-in-rebate.
The new wireless aircard provides users the ability to connect to Sprint’s blazing fast 4G service where present, and switch seamlessly to their 3G connection when 4G is not available. Sprint recently merged with Clearwire in hopes creating a nationwide WiMax network.
