iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C arrive in Virgin Mobile on 1st of October
The newly released flagships Apple iPhone 5S and Apple iPhone 5C will be offered from the major carriers in the US. Yesterday the pre-paid mobile operator Virgin Mobile announced that it will launch both handsets on 1st of October. The company used one of the popular ways to break the news, via a tweet from its official account in Twitter, @VirginMobileUSA. The carrier did not reveal additional information about the price and the exact plans for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The costs for the handsets will be higher compared to the two-year contracts, because Virgin Mobile offers pre-paid services. Last year’s flagship iPhone 5 was offers for $549 for the 16GB variant, $649 for 32GB and $749 for 64GB.
The carrier will announce its plan options soon for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. They will most likely be as part of the Beyond Talk plans offered by Virgin Mobile. They consist of three different plans including unlimited messaging and data. Users should keep in mind though that the speed of the internet will be decreased significantly after 2.5GB of high-speed date usage. The talk time included in the plans Beyond Talk cost $35 for 300 minutes talk time. If you want to use 1200 minutes, the monthly payment is $45. The unlimited talk time is offered for $55 by Virgin Mobile.
The carrier has over a year tradition to provide the iPhone models. The first launched by Virgin Mobile was iPhone 4S back in June 2012. Apple shared its plans to offer the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C to all the major mobile operators in the US. The confirmation of the plans is rather welcome by users of Virgin Mobile. Few more days and both devices will shine on the shelves of the pre-paid mobile operator. How do you prefer to buy smartphones, on a contract, with pre-paid plans or unlocked? Share with us.
