ZTE Grand S reviewed ahead of launch
A marketing trick or just being impatient to show off with the new super thin Grand S? Could be both. Fact is that instead of waiting until CES to launch it, the company went ahead and provided a short preview of the phone at its design offices in Shanghai.
During the event, it was confirmed that the Grand S would be the company’s international 5-inch quad-core phone, unlike the China-only Nubia Z5, which launched just after Christmas. The new phone will measure 6.9mm in thinness with a narrow 3.14mm bezel, and an OGS display of just 0.55mm. The available color palette of the new device was also revealed – black, white, grey, pink, red, blue and lime green.
The rest of the specs are still shrouded in secrecy, but sources suggest that it will feature a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
