YotaPhone is officially launched in Russia for 19,990 RUB
The dual-screen YotaPhone is released in Russia, Germany, France and Spain
YotaPhone is one of the most interesting smartphones that have been launched in the digit world until now. It gives a new meaning to the “dual-screen” term. Apart from most of the models that feature two screens as part of the retro flip-phone design, the YotaPhone arrives with one display on the back and one on the front panel. The first rumors about the extraordinary handset appeared a year ago. It is made by the Russian company Yota Devices. The phone features unique design and capabilities. One year after the handset was presented in the mobile world it finally hits the markets. It is already available for pre-orders via the online website of the company. The first countries that are getting the dual-screen phone are Russia, France, Spain and Germany. It comes at price €499 (equal to $678) or 19,990 RUB ($601). The next markets that will launch the YotaPhone in the next weeks are Greece, the UK, Iran, Egypt and Pakistan. According to the company within the end of January the phone will be available in 20 markets in Europe and the Middle East. It can be pre-ordered from HERE. The model is offered with white and black versions.
A quick reminder for the features of the handset reveals two displays with 4.3 inches. On the front panel is located an LCD screen with a resolution of 720p. On the rare side is set an e-ink display with 360 x 640p resolution. The e-ink technology requires little to almost none consumption of battery life. The rare screen is perfect for getting notifications, reading books and displaying information like weather, time, date etc. On the both sides of the phone are located two cameras. The primary shooter is with 13MP on the back, while the front camera is with 1MP. In the heart of the phonies ticking a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in memory. The YotaPhone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. It supports 4G LTE connectivity. The launching of the phone was much anticipated by users who enjoy extraordinary devices.
