New awesome phablet is officially unveiled in the tech world for the joy of enthusiasts who love high-end smartphones. Meet Vivo Xplay 3S. The phablet is armored with one of the best displays we have ever seen in the digit world, especially on large-sized devices.
The Xplay 3S boasts a 6-inches screen with the impressive resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. When we do the math, it turns out that the new model features 490ppi pixel density. It is needless to say that those features already set the phablet at top of the QHD displays, beating up the competition of Google Nexus 5 with 445ppi or HTC One which was the leader in the category with 468ppi screen. The amazing display is only one of the key features of Xplay 3S that fascinates users. It is armored with a digital-to-audio converter with ESS Technology ES9018. There is a Texas Instruments’OpA2604 amplifier. Among the special features of the model is the DTS Headphone:X. in short – the Xplay 3S is an awesome smartphone for users who prefer the most advanced displays with high-resolution and smartphones that can deliver brilliant sound.
Under the hood of the phablet is ticking a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz with 3GB RAM on board. The storage provided in the device is 32GB. In case you need more memory there is the possibility to use microSD card. Its main camera is pretty decent – 13MP rare shooter with f/1.8 aperture lens. The front camera of the phablet is with 5MP. It runs on the Android platform with Funtouch UI over it. Vivo Xplay 3S is powered by a 3200mAh battery. The launch date for the phablet is still unknown. It is expected to hit the markets in 2014 with great chances to be launched internationally. The price of the smartphone is CN¥3498 ($576). The connectivity features in the phablet include support for LTE. The Xplay 3S will be launched by Tmall, one of the biggest Chinese mobile operators.
