Xperia ZL hits the Russian market next month
One of the high-end devices this year surely is Sony Xperia ZL. It is, however, unlucky to come out at the same time as the company’s flagship – Sony Xperia Z. While the latter is thought to be the best smartphone created by Sony, Xperia ZL’s features may well appeal to some of the mobile fans.
Sony Xperia ZL sports a 5’’ display powered by the FHD technology and with 441 pixels per inch. The motherboard consists of quad-core processor at 1.5GHz, 2GB of operative memory, 16GB storage capacity and a 13MP camera on the back.
The smartphone doesn’t provide the water and dust resistance of Xperia Z, but impresses with something else – the body to screen ratio we already told you of before. The average ratio for smartphones is 60-68%, and the ratio provided by XL is 75%, which is a new record in the mobile world.
What about the availability? According to Sony Canada, we will see the device hit the Canadian market in April and it will be supplied by 6 carriers – WIND Mobile, Rogers, MTS, Videotron, Mobilicity and Bell. Moreover, Sony Russia announced, that the device will be available there in March and will cost $886. Let’s hope the device will be available in more countries soon as Xperia Z is already released in 60 countries worldwide.
