Xiaomi Expands Its Lineup with Another Redmi Note 13 Variant
Beyond its reputation for budget-friendly phones, Xiaomi is also well-known for releasing numerous variations of the same smartphone under different names and brands, often with minimal modifications. Recently, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the Redmi Note 13R, the latest addition to the Redmi Note 13 series.
The Redmi Note 13R features a 6.79-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, all housed in a polycarbonate chassis. The design is reminiscent of recent Redmi models, particularly with its flat sides and rear camera module styling.
In terms of photography, the device is equipped with a 50 MP f/1.8 primary camera, a 2 MP f/2.4 macro lens, and an 8 MP front-facing camera. As a budget device, its video recording capabilities are limited to 1080p resolution at 30fps. The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13R is driven by a Snapdragon 4+ Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which are some of the phone’s key highlights. It also comes with Android 14 out of the box. Priced at approximately 180 EUR, the cost may vary depending on the region.
