Windows Phone Germany gives you away 5 apps for free
It seems that Windows Phone Germany is trying to be generous – it is now giving away for free five paid apps, related to holidays and travelling. After making the apps free, Windows Phone mocked Android in their Facebook page with the claim that their software is checked for malicious software and malware and is 100% clean.
The most expensive app given away by Windows Phone Germany is Langenscheidt Professional German-English, English-German dictionary. It has 148 000 entries and originally costs 50.99 euro ($66.19), so it is a really big present from Windows Phone Germany. It includes even business and specific terminology, so it may come really handy.
Run.GPS Trainer is another app that you can get for free. It will normally cost you 7.99 euro ($10.37). The application is very useful if you want to see what distance you have run, skied or cycled. Moreover, it allows you to use a good turn-by-turn navigation in order not to get lost.
You can also obtain Spanish Talk and Travel for free, which normally is 9.49 euro ($11.68). This is another Langenscheidt Professional dictionary, aimed at the German-Spanish and German-Spanish phrases. The dictionary has about 3900 phrases in it. You can even pin some of the phrases you need most often to the start screen of your Windows Phone – the idea of the app is to find what you need to say as fast as possible.
Another useful app that may help you save some money, but not only by installing it because it is in a free period, is Clever-tanken.de, which will show you the cheapest gasoline in your area and will help you find a petrol station when you need it. The original price of this app is 1.99 euro ($2.58).
MM Travel is the last free app to get. It is something like a travel guide and with its help you can get information about the weather, sites to visit or other useful information you may need during your excursion. By getting it now, when it is free, you will save 8.99 euro ($11.67 USD).
All these apps can be yours by visiting the Windows Phone Store. They all can be installed both on Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 except MM Travel, which is for Windows Phone 7 only.
