Vine for Android updated, many features added
Vine for Android got a major update. Actually, it is the biggest update so far. The developers have added many new features, channels and a new capture widget. Moreover, many camera improvements and bug fixes have been made.
Twitter launched its Vine app for Android a couple of months ago and for this short period of time Vine has gained a huge popularity among Android users. Before that, the App was available only for iOS users. Now, Vine has even caught up with iOS. The new Android update brings a couple of enhancements including an improved camera interface, a new capture widget and reviving. Some of the features are completely new for Vine. For example the widgets are not available in the iOS version of Vine, because of lack of widget functionality.
The new camera widget is placed on the home screen that gives you an instant recording. The camera improvements include new camera focus, ghost tools and grid. The reviving function allows you to post someone else’s Vine video on your feed. With the new version you can browse through 15 new Vine channels and you can post your own video shorts there. The update brings a new mute button, so you can watch the videos in science. Here’s the full list with the changes:
• You can post and browse 15 new channels
• Share your favorite Vine files in one tap
• You can start recording right from the home screen
• You have new camera features – new focus, grid and tools
• A mute button added
• Vine has an improved performance
