Verizon gives a hint for its plans to reveal a new Droid app
Gamers will just love the most recent rumors giving a hint that Verizon is planning to release a new Droid app. The latest activity on the @DroidLanding Twitter account confirms the rumors and reveals even more information and details on this topic. Fans of Droid can read the latest tweets by Verizon that hint for the announcement of the game that will arrive with “Nationwide sightings of 50-ft mechanized wARriors under the command of civilians.” In the tweets, you can also see a special YouTube video that presents animations and more information about the upcoming app.
What we see on the video are improved animations, sounds and Droid-like scenes. Our attention is drawn by the big AR robots (augmented reality robots) that gamers will see spread all over the country. Those of you, who watch the video carefully will see at the end more details about the branding information, like the names “Droid Combat” and “D:Com: – Mission Alpha.”
According to the video the app D:Com – Mission Alpha is available only with its iOS version at this moment. The developer that has created the app is MunkyFun. Verizon and MunkyFun have an experience of working together over the “Droid Bionic Arena” game, back in 2011.
The more information appears about the upcoming app, the more clear it is, that the rumors will turn out to be true and we will soon see the new app with the possible name D:Com – Mission Alpha. Verizon has given hints about a new device that will support the app; however there is still no more information about the certain Droid device. The promotional video gives a clue for the releasing date of the app – it is supposed to be sometime in June 2013.
