There’s future for Windows Phone 8
If you are afraid that your Windows Phone 8 will remain this way forever, don’t worry – Microsoft has other plans. It seems that now the case won’t end up like the one with Windows Phone 7, which had rather strict hardware requirements and when the time for update came, the phones operating under it could get Windows Phone 7.5 and Windows Phone 7.8 and…that’s it.
Greg Sullivan, who is the company’s marketing manager, said that Microsoft is only in the middle of the Windows Phone 8 product cycle. He added that Microsoft won’t follow the example of some companies and announce services that are bound to come after months or years, but will focus on the maintenance and support of what is here now. Sullivan expects a lot more devices and products with better interoperability to come out before the next Microsoft product.
Sullivan did not confirm the rumours that Windows Phone Blue will be the next update. However, there is good news for everyone with Windows Phone 8 owner. According to the marketing manager, Windows Phone 8 will be upgraded and has the capability to evolve, because it is not hardware dependant. He promised that Microsoft will pay attention to the needs of the customers and the development of the market and will answer with updates and new services.
