The Xperia 10 III now supports Android 13
Sony has just revealed that the Sony Xperia 10 III will be receiving the Android 13 update over-the-air with the software version number 62.2.A.0.367. Along with this update, the device will be getting the January 2023 Android security patch.
In 2021, Sony released the Xperia 10 III, the most budget-friendly phone of its kind that year. This device boasted a 6-inch OLED display, 12-megapixel camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset, 6GB RAM, and 4,500 mAh battery, all encased in a polycarbonate body. Additionally, it had IP68 dust and water resistance, and has since been replaced by the Xperia 10 IV with similar specs.
Recent news from Sony has revealed image renders of the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 V. The photos and specs were shared by tipster @onLeaks and tech site Green Smartphones, showing a design that is similar to existing Sony phones, such as the Xperia 1 IV.
Users of Android 13 can go to their Settings app to determine if the newest software update is available. This update is initially being released to users in the US and Canada, and further regions will follow shortly.
