The official date for Galaxy Note 3 has been confirmed, Samsung is working on LTE variant of the phablet
The official unveiling of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is among the most anticipated events in the mobile world for Q3. Until now, we have seen numerous rumors and leaks about the upcoming high-end phablet by Samsung. Recently we got the news that Samsung is working on an LTE version of the phablet powered by Snapdragon 800 CPU under the hood. This simply means blazing fast internet connection with blazing fast performance. The latest information arrives straight from the AnTuTu benchmark where the device SM-N9005 has been spotted. Sources connected to Samsung reveal that this is the codename for the LTE variant of Galaxy Note 3.
The recent leak confirms once again that the phablet will work over the new build OS Android 4.3. Its modern Snapdragon 800 processor will be clocked at 2.3GHz. The specs described in the leak definitely sound good, however according to the results from the benchmark test, Galaxy Note 3 has shown lower scores compared to what we have seen in the benchmark results of other devices that work with Snapdragon 800. This makes us wonder whether the leak with benchmark results is real or it shows the results of the first prototypes of Galaxy Note 3.
The new phablet will work with an octa-core Exynos 5420 quad-core CPU with 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 800 chip. Rumors say that the phablet will be equipped with 5.7-6-inch display. It will work on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and support LTE-A connectivity. The new improved user interface TouchWiz will enrich the user experience with more features and options. Galaxy Note 3 will sport a 13MP camera on the back.
Samsung has officially announced the date for the big SAMSUNG UNPACKED event when Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the new smartwatch by Samsung will make an appearance. Look forward to 4th of September! We will keep you posted with the newest.
