The Huawei Ascend P1 launches in the U.S.
The Huawei products seem still relatively unknown in the U.S. The company however is trying to change that, and on Thursday announced the availability of the Ascend P1 smartphone for US consumers.
The Android-powered smartphone is equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The handset is also one of the thinnest smartphones on the market, just 7.6 millimeters.
Huawei is offering the device carrier-unlocked through Amazon (AMZN) for $449.99.
