The green Google Settings – nothing to worry about
Maybe a lot of you have noticed the new Google app in your phone. Some users on the Internet were even concerned that this is some type of Malware or Virus, but don’t worry, it’s nothing like that. It’s just the Settings of Google Services 3.0.
As your Play Store and other Google services update themselves ‘secretly’, now Google Settings came to you in the same way. And it won’t go away – you will need to put up with it, though it is useless. Yes, it is useless, because it is not Settings at all – it just provides you with things you already have shortcuts for – Google Maps, Location, etc.
With the Settings comes the new feature – Apps with Google+ Sign-In. It will enable you to sign in different apps with your Google+ account – similar to the apps you log in with your Twitter or Facebook account. This service is useless, too, because there are no such apps yet.
It seems that Google is trying to facilitate the working process with its services for the users, but there were some negative comments on the Internet. Some people are not quite grateful to Google for installing ‘crap’ on their phones without them knowing. Whatever, we all should put up with the service and hope it will be any good in the future.
