The flip phone Samsung Hennessy is officially announced in China
Have you ever dreamed for a time-machine? The new smartphone by Samsung offers you a blink from the past dressed in sleek design and packed with modern features and possibilities – meet Samsung Hennessy. Rumors and leaks about the new model flip phone produced by the Korean manufacturer have been emerging for at least a month.
The first hints for the new Android dual-screen phone by Samsung seemed a bit like… a joke or an experiment of the company. One of the reasons that made us suspicious about the concept was the not possible inclusion of the touchscreen technology in the device. Believe it or not, Samsung Hennessy is here and already succeeds to draw attention. The official announcement of the dual-screen handset happened just few hours ago in China, where the handset will be distributed for now.
The new modern flip phone runs on Android 4.1. It boasts 3.3-inch displays with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. They are not touchscreen but have responsive capabilities because of the Project Butter technology. The phone is powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. One of the screens is adorned with three capacitive keys for easy working with the user interface, even if it is not touchscreen display. The new phone is equipped with 1,500mAh battery and microSD slot under the hood. Let’s not forget that it supports dual-SIM usage. Samsung Hennessy boasts a 5MP primary camera located on the back panel of the device.
One of the speculated names for the device was also Samsung Galaxy Folder. The company has not announced pricing and launch date for the phone yet. It is expected that the new flip phone will first arrive to the biggest Chinese carriers. How do you like the new flip phone by Samsung?
