Tempting trade-in promotion for iPhone 5 offered by Target

Thanks to a tipster of PhoneArena, we can share with you the chance to get Apple iPhone 5 for $100 cheaper. The retailer Target is announcing a new trade-in promotion for iPhone 5. It begins on 18th of August (Sunday). To qualify for the promotion, you need to bring your working and fully functional device of the models iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. You will swap the device for a discounted deal for iPhone 5. For example, if you want to buy the 16GB version of the flagship, you will give away your iPhone 4 or 4S and get a discount of $50. The current price of the phone, tied with two year contract is $150 which means that you can decrease the costs with 1/3.
The retailer provides several versions of iPhone 5 subsidized by Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. You can buy also the 16GB version unlocked for $699. The picture provides by the tipster reveals even more of the promotion by Target. It seems that the trade-in deals will be available for other Apple devices as well. The written is not too clear to read, but as we can see it says “trade in any working previous generation iPhone or iPad.” It is still a mystery what the promotion will include for the older devices and which models exactly will be eligible.
