Sure there are a lot of apps out there to entertain the children for an amount of time, but that’s just mindless fun, what about the education? Spelling Test Practice with Nouns iPhone app is perfect for little kids, who have just learned to read and need to practice their spelling skills.
Spelling Test Practice with Nouns is made for nouns in particular, with over 500 words with picture hints to help identifying it, which has the option to be turned on or off.
There is also the option to record your own voice for each word for personalization and unlimited individualized lists can be created for each user to add your own words with photos and voice recording.
There is also an interactive spelling test with multiple levels of difficulty to select from and play, which enhanced the learning.
The Easy level provides hints in the form of letter along with blanks, Medium level removes the letter hints and has a timer and the last Hard level has no text boxes and allows free typing of words.
The app reports of the correct and incorrect answers generator for review. The incorrectly spelled words can be flagged from the report list and added to the Practice word list for later on. This list contains the words the child has had problems with and leaves it for later repetition.
Parents and teachers have the ability to create special profiles for each child with individualized lists unique for each kid. They can also add, delete words and hide them along with lists.
