Sony Xperia Z’s ads ‘make magic’
It’s been more than a week’s time since Sony Xperia Z hit the Japanese market and now the company releases a series of unique advertising videos to promote its flagship device. The videos don’t list out specifications and don’t boast off, but try to appeal to the customers’ imagination and inspire them with the numerous possibilities of Xperia Z.
The phone itself is a real beauty, but has the qualities of a beast and its specs are really amazing – quad-core at 1,5 GHz, 5’’ display etc. – you can’t have missed them. Moreover, the case of the phone is made entirely from glass – one piece for the front and one for the rear side.
The ads, however, do not tell people these things again. They are entirely focused on its camera, but do not note its specs (13MP, and the unique Exmor RS sensor). Instead, they try to show what people can create with their imagination. The two videos are in Japanese (where there is some sound) but you don’t need to know it in order to understand. The first video shows a group of people in the street, performing different activities with the help of a drawn line. The second video shows a magician, performing tricks with the moon. Both the ads have the motto ‘Make Magic’ and surely, it’s the right thing to do with such a fabulous smartphone. Let’s remind you that it is coming to Germany and Sweden this week and a bit later – in the UK.
