Sony Xperia ZL will be landing in Canada
The two newest devices introduced by Sony, the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL, are now largely offered to retailers and carriers, and have been quite successful in attracting their interest. However, it seems that the ZL does not share the same popularity of its sibling. The probable reason might well be the fact that the Xperia ZL isn’t waterproof, or dust-proof as is the Z model, even though lacking these features allows it to have a narrower bezel around the 5 inch 1080p display, and thus having overall dimensions of 131.6 x 69.3 x 9.8 mm.
Still, according to latest news from Sony, the ZL will be released in Canada. The statement does not specify on exactly when the ZL will be in stores across Canada, but it should be before the end of this quarter. Price has not been mentioned either.
The Xerpia ZL smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and features LTE, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 13MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, 2MP front-facing camera, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8064 Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 2,370 mAh battery.
