At the same time there is some positive news about Sony’s earnings. According to the latest data report, Sony has doubled its expected net profit. The reasons can be seen in the depreciation of the yen and selling some of the Sony’s buildings. Since the mayor sales are made outside Japan, the weaker currency increases Sony’s revenues. The net profit is expected to be 40 billion yen (430 million USD). Sony will publish its official results on May 8th, but it seems that this would be the first profit since 2008. It remains to be seen some plans for the near future. All investors are hoping Sony to keep the profit in the next few years.
