Smartphones are in bad need for better battery life and to be less breakable. Any ideas?
Cat phones offer much better battery life and are hardly breakable
When people are being asked what the most annoying thing about their smartphones is, they will all tell you the same thing. Smartphones are too fragile and you can easily destroy a high-end device by dropping it on a solid surface. In order to repair it, it will probably cost almost as much as you’ve paid for the phone itself.
Another thing that bugs everyone is the battery life. Years ago when we used ‘normal’ mobile phones, we were making calls or we were playing Snake for days without recharging. Now one does not simply leave the house without a charger in the bag.
Off the record, the most favourite phone I used to have, the legendary Nokia 3310 didn’t have any of those problems despite not being ‘smart’. In fact- you recharge your Nokia 3310 once a month and it will never break, in contrast nowadays’ smartphones you recharge every single day and they will break as soon as possible. You got my point, so let’s proceed.
A research has revealed that customers are very frustrated with that issue. Dave Floyd, co-CEO, Bullitt Mobile Ltd. commented:
Most mobile phones are simply not durable enough – and a lot of users are very unhappy about this. Today’s hectic and varied lifestyles mean that people are demanding a lot more from their mobile phone. Whether it’s a smart phone or a basic feature phone, owners expect their devices to be easy to use, built to last and with a good battery life. We carried out this research to gain a deeper understanding of what consumers want and have aimed to address those needs with our portfolio of Cat rugged mobile phones.
Apparently, Cat phones offer much better battery life in addition to being waterproof, dust-impervious, shockproof and enhanced with a scratchproof glass. They offer a huge range of models including Android ones. In case I grabbed your attention, you can check out what Cat has to offer in their official page HERE.
