Samsung’s latest products coming to NTT in Japan
Flagship Samsung products headed to Japan
NTT Docomo in Japan will become one of the first carriers in the world to offer three of the latest additions to the Samsung’s line-up. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S5 Active, and Galaxy Tab 8.4 will be coming to NTT’s portfolio in October/November, and most likely before the American and other key markets.
Galaxy S5 Active is set to launch first, on October 4th. This is a device quite similar to the regular S5 model, but with a more premium chassis. The list with specs include a 5.1 inch processor with FULL HD resolution, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage. On the back side is a 16MP camera, while under the hood is the 2800 mAh battery. Galaxy S5 Active for NTT Docomo will be available in two color options – grey and Camo green.
One of the most attractive looking phones right now is the Note Edge introduced at IFA in September. Black and white color options will arrive in Japan no later than mid-November so users can buy this limited concept phablet with unique curved screen. Only selected markets will enjoy the Note Edge’s presence as Samsung has made clear that this will not be available globally. Korea and the US are two of the countries where this unique beast is expected to arrive before the end of 2014.
Finally, NTT is also preparing the launch of the Galaxy Tab 8.4 which includes an Octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, LTE, and a 4900 mAh battery. As you can guess, the screen is 8.4 inches across diagonals.
