Samsung working on a new 10-incher – Samsung Roma
Everybody interested in the mobile world knows that Samsung is constantly pouring new and new devices on the mobile market. Now we hear that Samsung is rumoured to be developing a new tablet with a 10-inch screen and the codename Roma. If the rumours turn out true, Samsung Roma will be Samsung Google Nexus 10 with TouchWiz.
What we know for now is that Samsung Roma will support 4G LTE. It seems that the technology will be indispensable part of all hi-tech devices from now on and we will see more and more 4G networks around the globe. Samsung Roma will have, as we already mentioned, a 10.1’’ display. The measures of the tablet are expected to be 257×177.7×8.4mm. The display will be with resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and the pixel density will be 299 pixels per inch.
The other specs of the device include the 1.7GHz processor – a dual-core Exynos 5, backed up by 2GB of operative memory. The 5MP rear shooter will provide you with the opportunity to make cool pictures and a 1.9MP front-facing camera will allow you to chat with video or make pictures of yourself. The device features 16GB of storage capacity that is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. And, of course, Samsung Roma includes all the typical modern connectivity options.
Samsung Roma will be relatively light – only 583g. It will come out of the box with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the system and the beasty hardware will get power from the great 9000mAh battery.
However, there is no official information from Samsung yet. The device will probably be officially announced very soon and, as always, the rumour will prove true. This tablet will be a really fabulous device and is sure to compete with Sony Xperia Z Tab and the other pretenders for the title ‘best slate for 2013”.
