Samsung has started rolling out the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S4 once again
This time it’s a stability update to fix all issues that caused the original update to be put on hold
Few days ago we received some news that Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S4 has been put on hold in several carriers, starting with AT&T and Cellular. As Galaxy S4 owners remember, those carriers started rolling out the update earlier this month which means until November 20 many folks became stick with a Jelly Bean version that is not so bug-free.
The good news is today is that Samsung has started rolling out the update for Galaxy S4 once again and the happy jelly bean is already showing up in Germany, France and the UK. This time Android 4.3 comes as a stability update in order to fix all the issues that caused the original update to be put on hold. After the long wait has been FINALLY over, there’s the new magic build number I9505XXUEMKE and its official date is November 27. Again, the update is available at Kies that will automatically notify you when it’s ready for your handset. Android 4.3 for Samsung Galaxy S4 will start making its progress onto your Galaxy S4 devices in the coming days. Meanwhile, the deployment will be normally performed in stages, which means that not all of the users will receive it right from the start. This means, you can still check it out manually via Settings> About Phone> Software updates menu. Either way, as usual the Jelly Bean fella will jump into your phone on its own when it’s ready.
Android 4.3 comes with a support for Samsung Galaxy Gear, faster performance as well as an improved RAM management. In addition, it features new firmware and modes for the cam, support for KNOX security and bunch of other cool things like dragging and dropping apps that it’s supposed to bring. The major bugs have been fixed, so it will worth the long wait.
