Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Game Edition on its way
The Game Edition pack of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will arrive with the bundled Game Pad controller
Few days ago we reported that Samsung Smartphone Game Pad controller was finally ready to launch, compatible with devices running Android 4.1 and later.
Now the Korean company announced that there’s a Game Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 on its way and will arrive with the very same bundled Game Pad controller. Gamers can rest assure that as the Game Pad was made only to attach smartphones, it will be followed by an HDMI adapter in the package in order to enable users to connect the tablet to a TV.
Speaking of connectivity, users will also connect to the controller via Bluetooth or NFC and that’s all it will take to enjoy one of the great titles that the Game Pad supports.
Those include popular titles such as EA’s racer Need for Speed, Most Wanted and Asphalt8 : Airborne by Gameloft, as well as awesome first-person shooter titles such as Modern Combat 4 : Zero Hour by Gameloft , sports titles such as SEGA’s Virtua Tennis Challenge, and action titles such as Prince of Persia : The Shadow and the Flame by Ubisoft.
As for the Galaxy Tab 3, it will be the Wi-Fi variant. The tablet is powered by a dual-core application processor coated at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM.
Unfortunately, the pricing of the whole pack hasn’t been announced yet and we can only hope for Samsung to put some Christmas spirit on it, however- honestly- we wouldn’t really count on it as the controller alone costs about 80 Euros. Either way, it’s a pretty good controller with a dedicated GAME button that would allow users to launch a portal on the device so they could switch between games when pausing. What do you say? Would you go for the Game Edition pack?
