Samsung Galaxy S5 full specs revealed in a new leak
The growing number of leaks for Samsung Galaxy S5 boosts the excitement and the anticipation for the announcement of the flagship, rumored to happen at MWC in the end of this month. There are less than two weeks until the big event, so all we can do is wait and see and explore the newest gossips and leaks about the model. The new leak for Galaxy S5 claims to show the box of the model. Most of the manufacturers (Samsung included) highlight the specs and the advantages of the smartphone or the tablet on the boxes. If we can trust the authenticity of the leak, it means that we know have the full sheet of specs of the upcoming flagship. One of the reasons that make us believe the leak is showing the real box of Galaxy S5 is because the listed specs are the same that were mentioned in previous rumors.
According to the picture of the box, the new smartphone will be armored with a 5.25-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1600×2560 pixels. The pixel density is the mind-blowing 560ppi. This is a huge improvement in the model compared to the current flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 that features a 5-inch display with 440ppi. The processor of Galaxy S5 is a quad-core 2.5GHz with Snapdragon 800 chip and 3GB RAM. The model will support LTE Cat connectivity which is the improved version of 4G LTE. As expected the phablet will run on the newest Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade of the platform. The main camera of the device is an impressive 20MP shooter on the back that can capture 1080p video (we expected more advanced capabilities of the camera related to the video recording). The battery of Galaxy S5 will be with a capacity of 3000mAh.
The alleged date for the debut of the model is at the Unpacked 5 event before MWC on 24th of February in Barcelona. The time is 8:20pm CET.
