Samsung Galaxy Note Pro leaks in a photo
Another creation of Samsung’s current obsession with stitched faux leather
Few days ago we talked about Samsung’s Fantastic 4 to appear in early 2013 at CES. The upcoming tablets will feature different screen sizes and will expand the Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy Note series. Today we were happy to discover a brand new leaked photo that confirms one of the four devices- the hot topic Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P900/P905) and if the image is authentic, then all rumors become accurate.
In terms of concept, the Galaxy Note Pro is quite a unique tablet, especially compared to the other members of the big Samsung tablets family and this buddy is going to be a powerhouse with such huge measurements. In all, as Samsung has usually gone for 7 or 8-inchers, this time the Korean phone maker shows off 12.2- inch display.
Back in August, a whole set of speculations pointed out that leading companies such as Apple and Samsung are about to step up with forcing a new market segment with huge tablets measured at least 12-inches. Not that such segment doesn’t already exist, as there are already few tablets with larger screen sizes, however those run Windows 8 and there haven’t been ones for Android users yet. But let’s get to the point.
Basically, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro seems like a giant Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The tablet will sport 2560×1600 pixels of resolution and will operate with everyone’s most wanted quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with 3GB of RAM. Well, the RAM configuration is a little bit odd, but it sounds good enough to me.
The only thing that isn’t impressive is the camera, as the set offers only 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter; however who takes photos with a tablet anyway? As for the software, there’s still no word whether the Galaxy Note Pro will be running Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 KitKat.
The leaked photo also shows Samsung’s current obsession with stitched faux leather. Let’s say it’s a phase.
