Samsung Galaxy Note 3 compared to other devices in size
Okay, we saw the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but now it is time to put it through a test. To be more specific it is time for the device to be featured in its first comparison yet. Earlier today we talked about the dimensions of the Sony Xperia Z1 and we came to the conclusion that it is quite big but because of the still big bezel its screen feels a bit boxed. Now it is time to put the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 through the same test as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 when compared to other devices looks really, really big and not in a bad way. It is slightly bigger than all of them has almost the thinnest bezel (excluding LG G2, this thing is insanely thin) and it really manages to keep the same size as the Note 2 but it has bigger screen due to the thin bezel.
Now, the difference has really shrunken, but it’s still there. The Note 3 is noticeably larger than the LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One when put next to them. Only the larger Sony Xperia Z1 comes pretty close to matching the Note 3’s large size. But it certainly can’t match its bezel thinness.
Basically when you take a look at different devices in this class you can either choose a big device or a smaller device with a thinner bezel; or you can choose Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
The size has always been the strength of Samsung. Lightness, thinness and really great shape and screen are the characteristics of the brand. And when it comes to thinness even iPhone can’t really compete at this discipline with Samsung. Overall, we can say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is probably the best design of phablet that there is out there, right now.
