Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 in purple appears on the official Samsung Hong Kong site
The refreshments and the improvements of the current smartphones are always welcome, even if the new that the manufacturer adds up is just a different color version. Therefore we were happy to see the pictures of the new color variant of Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 dressed in purple shell. The news came from the official website of Samsung in Hong Kong. The purple Galaxy mega 6.3 will join the current white and black variants of the phablet.
The large-sized device will boast the same specs and features. It will arrive with a 6.3-inches screen with a resolution of 720p. The smartphong works with dual-core Snapdragon 400 CPU ticking at 1.7GHz and 1.5GB RAM. The internal storage of the giant is 8GB or 16GB, depending on the variant. It is armored with an 8MP camera on the back panel and 1.9MP shooter. The phablet is powered by 3200mAh battery. The large-sized handset runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but rumors say that it will be one of the lucky models to get the Android 4.4 updates. Galaxy Mega 6.3 has abundance of connectivity capabilities, including LTE networks.
It is still a mystery where the purple variant of the phone will be distributed and when it will be officially launched. Currently, the AT&T carrier is selling the device in the US. It is coming soon to Sprint and U.S. Cellular. However none of the companies has confirmed yet that it will offer the phone in purple. AT&T offers only Galaxy Mega 6.3 in black. There are rumors that the purple shell will “dress” the smaller version of the device – Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. As we mentioned, there is no official release date for handset in purple shell.
