Rumors for Moto G LTE for AT&T draw attention
Moto G with LTE support might be launched by AT&T
Motorola Moto G is enjoying growing popularity amongst mobile users worldwide. It boasts a great combination of specs and software capabilities offered at very affordable price – less than $200. Moto G is getting introduced to more and more markets. It is most offered unlocked but it is also available at subsidized price from different carriers, including Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon. The latest news about the model is that it is arriving in one of the biggest US mobile operators AT&T.
Among the weaknesses of the Moto G is its lack of 4G LTE support. Some interesting rumors that recently appeared on the web about the phone make the hint that this might change soon. The Moto G LTE was spotted in GFX Bench site for benchmark tests. It has the codename Motorola XT1045. The tested device works with 1.2GHz quad-core processor with Snapdragon chip. It boasts a display with a resolution of 720p which is the same as the capabilities of the screen of Moto G. The nickname of the new phone is Peregine. It seems that the model is a special variant of the affordable flagship purposed for AT&T. The name peregine_att is mentioned in the leak.
Recent rumors revealed that a new version of Moto G with LTE bands has just passed through the FCC certification. It is still unknown when AT&T will release the affordable smartphone from Motorola. The model is the perfect device for the new GoPhone prepaid plans. If the rumors turn out to be true, we might soon have the possibility to buy a capable smartphone with LTE connectivity for less than $200. The phone comes with 4.5-inch screen, 720p. It is powered by Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU. The phone arrives with 5MP rare camera, removable back plates and 1.3MP front shooter. The original model runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, but some carriers have already announced that they will release the phone with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed.
