Render photos of Xperia Tablet Z2 presented in a leak
Press images of Xperia Tablet Z2 surfaced on the Internet
The upcoming 10.1-inch tablet Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 was recently revealed in a leak where most of the specs were described. A quick reminder for the new slate includes a 10.1-inch Triluminos screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200p. It works with Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is equipped with 8MP camera on the back and 2MP shooter for video calls. The cell working under the hood of the phone is 6000mAh battery. It features 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 aka Castor is going to be one of the thinnest tablets on the market with only 6.4mm. The previous leak did not reveal the exact date for the debut for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2. However rumors say that we can expect it around MWC in Barcelona in just 6 days from now.
The new leak about the upcoming tablet consists of render photos of the model. It arrives to us thanks to @evleaks. The tipster shared via Twitter the press images of the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2. It sports a very similar design to its predecessor the Sony Xperia Tablet Z released last year. One of the biggest advantages of the tablets of the Z line is the waterproof panel. The body of Xperia Tablet Z2 is made of glass and metal and has water-resistant capabilities.
The slate depicted in the images seems to have very wide bezels. This is different from the trend in the digit world for the new models to arrive with as thin bezels as possible. The tablet will be released in two variants – with LTE support and with Wi-Fi only. Both models are identical except the connectivity features and slightly different weights. The LTE Xperia Tablet Z2 weighs 439 grams. The Wi-Fi variant tips the scale at 426 grams.
