Oppo R1 is officially launched at price of $410
Oppo R1 is released in China
Few days ago we shared with you the newest smartphone Oppo R1 that is expected to arrive real soon. Now the phone is finally officially released. It sports a beautiful design with elegant body and sleek silhouette. The smartphone outfitted in body with dimensions of 142.7 x 70.4 x 7.1 mm and weight of 140 grams. Oppo R1 is among the thinnest handsets ever launched in the mobile world with a panel that is only 7.1mm in width.
The phone is equipped with a 5-inches IPS screen with a resolution of 720x1280p. The pixel density of R1 is 294ppi which is about average for mid-range smartphone. The new smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor with MediaTek MT6582 CPU and 2GB RAM. The internal memory of Oppo R1 is 16GB. This is the whole storage you get because the phone does not support a microSd slot. The main camera of the phone is its main advantage. It arrives with a 8MP shooter on the back with a wide aperture – F/2.0. Oppo claims that the R1 takes excellent photos in low-light. It definitely has a great potential to meet the expectations of mobile users. There is a front-facing camera with 5MP for video calls. The battery of Oppo R1 is with a capacity of 2410mAh.

The price for the device is 2498 CNY ($410) SIM-fee which is very reasonable for its category. It is available for sales in China. Oppo has not revealed yet whether the model will land on more markets around the globe. We will wait and see. Oppo R1 joins the newly launched Oppo N1 CyanogenMod edition.
