Office Depot offers Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 for $399
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 – the new tablet of the Korean company – was launched earlier this April in UK. Since then, we have been expecting Samsung to officially release the device for the United States. They are sure to, the question is when. Meanwhile, the tablet was offered by Office Depot for $399, which seems a bit high price for this particular device. Different sources and rumours are suggesting that the release date of the tablet for the USA will be at some point in April.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 was revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The device is capable of working both as a smartphone and a tablet and works with the popular Samsung S-Pen stylus. In fact, speaking of the availability in the USA, the device is rumoured to be made available here sooner than expected.
Office Depot listed the 16GB model of the device for the price of $399. In comparison to Google Nexus 7, which will cost you only $199, the price of the newly-listed Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 seems a bit higher than the proper. However, after a re-check of Office Depot, we saw that the device is sold out and you can’t purchase it now – those who would like to get a unit of the phablet will have to wait a bit for a new supply.
Let’s remind you that Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with an 8-inch HD display (1280×800 resolution) and a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, accompanied with 2GB of operative memory. However, the system it comes out of the box with is Android 4.1 for now. Don’t you think, however, that the phablets are too inconvenient to use? Would you like to get one or do you prefer to have a classic smartphone that would be easy to handle and practical to use during the busy day? Feel free to share your comments, experience and opinion.
